How are vacant units filled?
Once the unit become available, we would select applicants from Veteran and Overcrowded Preferences alternatively as HUD’s selection plan instruction.
When and how is the current waiting list created? How are preferences given and applied?
The waiting list created by CCDC in 2005 but monitored by HUD when the building was built up.
Owner Adopted Preferences- Preferences will be granted to:

Applicants qualifying as a former resident of International Hotel shall be admitted before applicants with one or more of the other preferences listed above and applicants not claiming any preference.
Applicants qualifying as a local resident who are veterans of the United States Armed Forces, or their widows and local resident who reside in housing that is severely substandard or severely overcrowded shall be admitted before applicants with other local residency and applicants not claiming any preference.

How many are currently on the waiting list and how is it updated?
We have total 2,136 applicants on the waiting list currently. 0 applicant from Former Residents Preferences; 0 applicant from Veteran Preferences; 282 applicants from Overcrowded Preferences; 1,854 applicants from No Preferences.
Property Management will update the information on Waitlist Online system whenever needed.
When will the current waiting list expire and how will a new list be adopted?
The current waiting list will expire on July 3, 2018. Persons who have not received an offer of housing by that date will need to submit a new applicant. A new application process will be publicly announced at that time. We will not have additional information about the new process until after the list expires.
